Outstanding Mentee Award

This award is presented to a mentee that has shown a strong dedication to the L@s GANAS program through their outstanding attendance and participation, support of their peers and demonstrated initiative to interact with their cohort, staff, and faculty to develop a strong academic/professional network.

. The recipient has taken initiative to interact and develop a network with their cohort, staff, and faculty.

Eligible candidates for the Outstanding Mentee Award must:

• Be a mentee within the mentoring con ganas initiative
• Be in good academic standing with the University of Illinois at Chicago
• Demonstrate strong participation within the L@s GANAS program

Outstanding Mentor Award

This award is presented to a mentor that demonstrates strong participation and dedication to the L@s GANAS program. The recipient takes initiative to interact with their cohort, staff, and faculty to develop a strong academic/professional network. Furthermore, the mentor displays strong leadership and interpersonal skills which are vital to help guide and facilitate their mentee's transition into the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Eligible candidates for the Outstanding Mentor Award must:

• Be a mentee within the mentoring con ganas initiative
• Be in good academic standing with the University of Illinois at Chicago
• Demonstrate strong participation within the L@s GANAS program

Outstanding Mentee and Mentor Pair

This award is presented to an outstanding mentor and mentee dyad that together demonstrate strong participation, and dedication to the L@s GANAS program. The recipients take initiative to interact and develop a network with their cohort, staff, and faculty.

• Be a mentee/mentor dyad within the mentoring con ganas initiative
• Be in good academic standing with the University of Illinois at Chicago
• Demonstrate strong participation within the L@s GANAS program
