Gina is a Doctoral student in the Criminology, Law, and Justice department. Her research focuses on police community interactions. Broadly she is interested in intersectionality and tokenism, specifically as it relates to Latin@ officer experiences in police organizations. Gina’s has recently worked on the research team evaluating the L@s GANAS program at UIC.
