Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (Track 3)

Are you an incoming first year students that's interested in becoming a healthcare professional? If so, the Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP) Track 3 is for you.

What is LahSEP? It's a six-week summer program for incoming UIC first year students. Its goals are to provide students with the opportunity to engage in pre-health workshops, develop chemistry, math, and English skills. It's also meant to teach students about the college transition process and to educate on the resources that are available at the UIC campus.

What are the requirements? Students must have a genuine interest in medicine or the health sciences. Must have been accepted & attending UIC in the Fall 2019 semester. Students will need to submit a UIC intent to enroll form, and complete placement exams, placing into college level English 160 and Math 090 or above. A LaHSEP application, personal statement and two letters of recommendation must also be submitted.
